To Get Into the Prom
|
Nestled in the heart of Wilmington's Historic District, Hotel Ballast hosts AHS students in a stylish ballroom, with unobstructed water views, including the famed Battleship. Students can enter along the romantic and scenic Riverwalk or promenade down the grand staircase from the hotel's main entrance, across the street from the historic Cotton Exchange.

The AHS prom will provide light hors d'oeuvres and beverages throughout the evening.
Prior to prom, students may decide to dine at many of the downtown restaurants, but just to let you know, the Hotel Ballast sponsors three in-house or "right next door" restaurants: Board and Barrel, their newest waterfront casual dining option, Ruth's Chris Steak House, one of Wilmington's award-winning fine dining venues, and a coffee house, Buffalo Bayou.
It is recommended to make reservations early, remember, no one can enter the prom past 8:30!
